Store stocks best supplies for pets

PETstock in Lilydale is now supplying pets and their owners with all their animal health, wellbeing, dietary and lifestyle needs.
The store was opened in grand style earlier this month with a weekend of festivities and community celebrations.
“One of the highlights of the weekend was the staging of Lilydale’s Cutest Dog Competition,” store owner James Barnes said.
“Local families also enjoyed the animal farm, our reptile display, the free dog weigh and worm, children’s face paintings and the live band.”
PETstock, Australia’s fastest growing pet and animal supplies retailer, offers a specialty range of dog, cat, horse, fish and other small animal feed and equipment.

The newest addition, the store at Lilydale, is a response to the increased pet and animal ownership across the Yarra Valley and the outer eastern suburbs.

An in-store coin-operated dog bath is another feature of the Lilydale store, Mr Barnes said.
“It works just like a car wash. You bring your dog in, put your coins in and away you go,” he said.
“Also, from November we’ll have an in-store vet available at set times for general animal health and wellbeing assessments.
“People will be able to bring their pets in for worming advice, vaccinations and micro-chipping.”
The store’s spectacular aquarium is another highlight, Mr Barnes said.
“It is a must-see for children and parents alike. Filled with thousands of fish in a vast array of species it really is a brilliant sight,” he said.
