THE marriage of Cathy Van De Ven and Aaron Pye is a marriage made in heaven … or very close to it.
Both come from Yarra Valley towns that are way above sea-level – Cathy is a Toolangi girl and Aaron is from Warburton.
The couple came down from the clouds for their wedding, which was held at the historic Gulf Station in Yarra Glen on 17 March this year.
Cathy and Aaron met as students at Mt Lilydale Mercy College and, among other things, share a love of sport.
Teammates from the Warburton-Millgrove Football/Netball Club, where both are popular players, were among the many family members and friends, who celebrated with the bride and groom following the wedding ceremony.
The happy couple enjoyed a honeymoon in Thailand and have made their home in Woori Yallock.
