THE Healesville RSL rolled out a giant pink pig and fairy floss for its Very Special Kids (VSK) fundraiser last week, raising close to $2000 for kids in need.
The family day was held on Wednesday afternoon with lots of activities, including fairy floss, an animal farm, face painting, a sausage sizzle, a performance by the Badger Creek Primary School Choir and a visit by the VSK’s big pink pig.
The money supports the VSK hospice for children, which provides respite and end-of-life care for children and their families.
