A CONTESTED hearing in relation to charges against former St Brigid’s Parish priest Paul Pavlou has again been adjourned.
The matter was originally set down for 30 September but was adjourned to last Tuesday 11 November.
Father Pavlou, 49, is charged with two counts of indecent acts with a child under 16 and with possession of child pornography.
Fr Pavlou was parish priest at St Brigid’s for a year during 2005/06.
The contested hearing will now be heard at Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on 16 March 2009.
Fr Pavlou’s bail was extended to that date.
