DURING the last years of his life, Charles Dickens gave readings of his works to deafening acclaim.
His favourite (and the public’s too) was, A Christmas Carol.
At Warburton on 20 December the great narrator, played by Phil Zachariah, will recreate that era when he presents the uproarishly funny, profoundly moving story of redemption in “Charles Dickens Performs a Christmas Carol.”
The event will also feature live music by the local Jazz group Neville Turner Trio.
Celebrate Christmas with a special night of theatre, food and music.
Take along some supper, or talk to the staff at the Upper Yarra Arts Centre about ordering a hamper bag.
Phone to book on 5966 5040.
