STUDENTS at Gladysdale Primary School will no longer have to sit at the front of the class to hear and be heard.
Acting on behalf of Lions Hearing Dogs, the Healesville Lions Club recently presented the school with a “front row to go” sound system.
The system, a small portable PA system that helps students hear and be heard in the classroom, is especially helpful for students with hearing difficulties.
It is also a useful tool enabling students who are too softly spoken to be easily heard when giving oral presentations in class.
Lions president Alex Brown presented the system to school principal Peta Evans.
