DIVISION Four’s Jack Kirkham of the Arrows scored the first goal from a free kick in what ended up as a draw against Western United.
The Arrows were down 1-2 at half-time and came back to dominate the possession in the second half.
Increased pressure led to a couple of corners for Monbulk and Ian Hulbert headed in a goal in the second goal from a corner.
The Ladies Lyrebirds also drew against Mooroolbark 2-2, despite leading for the majority of the game.
Perri Gardiner scored first through sheer pressure on the goalkeeper. Natalie Allan scored from outside the 18-yard box on the wing. Player of the match was Elle Cody.
The FFV Ladies Seniors lost 0-2 to Doncaster. Despite numerous attempts at goal, the Ladies could not convert and Doncaster proved too strong. Best on ground was Michelle de Boer.
