COUNTRY music singer Steve Eales needs help to get to Hollywood.
Eales is holding a fundraising concert with the help of legendary performer Ross Wilson so he can get to Hollywood and represent Australia in the World Championship of Performing Arts.
He was selected to represent the country as our male vocalist, and will face off with almost 1000 other male vocalists for the gold medal.
Eales is a multi-award winning singer songwriter who tours Australia regularly but has never toured overseas.
“It’s no small thing to represent your country in any international event and there is no funding available to help,” he said.
Eales and Wilson will perform a fundraising concert at the Barra Shed near Yarra Junction.
The show also includes Ploughboys front man Damian Howard, Peter Denahy and Lee Morgan. The concert begins at 2pm on Sunday 6 June and donation tickets are $25 for adults with kids under 18 free.
Those interested can pay at the door or book on 1300 438 849.
