THERE’S nothing trivial about the work done by the staff and volunteers at the Victorian Animal Aid Trust, but that’s not to say they don’t get excited about trivia.
“At Animal Aid, we don’t have a hectic fundraising schedule, but we like to think we can offer our supporters a select few events which entertain and generate much needed funds,” said VAAT spokeswoman Debra Boland.
The annual Trivia Night and Silent Auction is one of the most popular events.
The Trivia Night will be held at York on Lilydale on Saturday, 3 July and Ms Boland said they are planning on making the event the best ever.
There will be lots of prizes and opportunities to bid on a great selection of goodies on the auction table. “Even the losing table won’t go home empty handed,” Ms. Boland said.
Donations of goods or services to the auction would be appreciated.
Animal Aid has set its sights high this year, with a target for the night of $25,000.
