THE YARRA Valley girls’ football team is hoping their new jumpers will give them a boost for the rest of the season.
The Seville Rangers played away in round seven and were sorely defeated by East Malvern in the Eastern Youth Girls Competition on Saturday.
East Malvern defeated Seville 9.11 (65) to 1.1 (7).
Michaela, 15, said the girls all sat down with their scribbling paper and designed their new football jumpers.
She said they used one colour each to represent the whole of the Yarra Valley from Wandin to Warburton.
The jumpers are navy blue, with black, green, yellow, red and white stripes.
