DESPITE an attack of vandalism that saw some riders having to replace equipment, 100 riders took to the field in May for the Upper Yarra Adult Riding Club Dressage Jackpot.
Winners were: Level 1, April Kerford on SP Lancombe; level 2, Wendy Higgin on Dargento; level 3 section A, Julie Hansen on Black Douglas; level 3 section B, Teresa Child on Yarradene Unforgettable; level 4, Sandra Chambers on Peppermint Dream; level 5, Nicole Smith on Artic Nimbus.
A jackpot occurs when riders take two tests at their assessed level, and the results of both are added together to find one winner in that level for the day.
The day was held in beautiful weather on 23 May and started on time despite the vandalism.
