THE inaugural Music At the Healesville Track is “on track” to present to Yarra Valley and Melbourne audiences an unforgettable concert experience.
Music at the Healesville Track 2010 is shaping up as a true celebration of community and music, bringing together an outstanding line-up of talented musicians to the Yarra Valley at a spectacular time of year.
Artist director and singer/songwriter Damian Howard said he was looking forward to the event, to be held at the Healesville racecourse on Saturday, 20 November.
“I’m very proud to be involved in an event which will offer the people of the Yarra Valley and Victoria a wonderful day of musical excellence and family entertainment at such an affordable price,” he said.
Organisers, who include the Healesville Racing Club, have aimed to make the day affordable. Entry for adults is $27.50, 14 to 18-year-olds is $10 and under 14s are free. A family ticket costs $57.50.
“With such a strong line up of talent across a diverse range of genres, we are lucky to be able to showcase some of the finest musicians in the country, including award- winning guitarist and songwriter Jeff Lang, the legendary Mick Thomas, Coodabeen champions star Greg Champion and Shane Howard, one of the Australia’s most loved and respected singer songwriters,” Damian Howard said.
“We wanted to be able to offer this community a great day to celebrate music a prices which won’t break the budget.”
Music At the Healesville Track runs from midday to midnight.
