HEALESVILLE’S talented acrobats recently brought home state and national championship titles, including three teams who got first place.
The Healesville Acrobatic Team attended the championships for the state pennant and Victorian championships in August, and the national championships in Adelaide in October.
Level nine pair Aaron Mavro and Jo Curry came first in the national championships, after winning the Victorian championships.
Healesville had three teams compete for the state pennant, level one trio Layla Taite, Tyler Borg and Charlotte King came first; level two trio Sarah Bamford, Tameika Stewart and Grace Clinton also came first and level three pair Kirsten Townshend and Ashleigh Clinton came second.
There were also three teams who competed in the Victorian championships: Aaron Mavro and Jo Curry came first as a level nine pair; Morgan Fisher, Steff Kelly and Mia Truong came fifth as a level five trio and Marian Marr, Rhyannon Dixon and Georgia Sissins came third as a level four trio.
