Be prepared for fire season

THE CFA is urging residents in the Eastern Metropolitan Region to attend Fire Ready meetings in the lead-up to the fire season.
Fire Ready meetings run for approximately one and a half hours and cover information about fire behaviour, Code Red days and preparing a Bushfire Survival Plan.
Meetings will take place at 7.30pm at Wandin Public Hall on Wednesday 12 January, Yarra Glen Primary School on Thursday 13 January, Yellingbo Community Hall on Tuesday 18 January, Gruyere Public Hall on Wednesday 19 January, Powelltown Public Hall on Thursday 20 January, Steels Creek Community Hall on Thursday 20 January, East Warburton at Millwarra Primary School on Thursday 27 January, Yarra Junction Football Clubrooms on Monday 31 January, Seville Public Hall on Wednesday 2 February, Wesburn Primary School on Wednesday 2 February and Gruyere Primary School on Wednesday 16 February. Hoddles Creek Primary School will hold a meeting on Saturday 29 January at 2pm.
