WHO steals a supermarket trolley when shoppers need them for their Christmas and holiday shopping? And, what do these thieves think makes it ok to steal trolleys?
Not only is stealing a punishable crime, but stealing trolleys is severely disrespectful to the supermarket and to the public who are inconvenienced and will pay for this.
Have we noticed and done nothing about it when we see supposedly upright honest people who run businesses stealing and having employees use this stolen property in their businesses when they obviously can afford to purchase their own trolley?
When the authorities have more officers and time, and less urgent matters to attend to, I hope the full force of the law will descend on these people who do not seem to get the enormity of their disgraceful behaviour and crime against the community that in many other ways they support.
