THE Yarra Valley hasn’t had the flooding Queensland or northern Victoria has, but Mother Nature has certainly shown her presence in the area.
There were flood warnings for much of last week around the Yarra catchment, and areas from Yarra Glen to Warburton were experiencing flooding which cut access to roads and services. The Yering flats were flooded – and yet again the Healesville races were called off.
