ROADS and drainage will be at the forefront of this year’s Yarra Ranges budget, with a number of initiatives aimed at preserving community infrastructure. The draft 2011/12 budget will go before Yarra Ranges Council tonight, Tuesday 10 May, for in-principle approval before being put on public exhibition for four weeks.
Yarra Ranges CEO Glenn Patterson said this year’s budget would place an emphasis on renewal of ageing infrastructure. The Mail will bring full coverage on the Yarra Ranges Council budget in next week’s edition.
