THE Upper Yarra Anglers Club held its annual trip to Nicholson over the Queen’s Birthday long weekend.
The rivers were flowing well after all the rain and some nice fish were caught.
The club also won an inter-league competition against Laburnum Angling Club by a mere seven grams.
The men’s winner was Henk Gooren with a 1kg bream, while Jodie Gooren won the women’s with a bream and flathead and junior fisherman Robert Brown caught an 810gm bream.
