EVERYTHING old is new again and Crumbz is bringing a “modern-vintage style” to Healesville.
The happy, colourful shop is full of uniquely beautiful items – retro home-made aprons, fabrics, wool, cupcake tins, recipe journals, cookbooks and tea-towels.
Owner and dress-maker Kay Trembath is proud to supply locals with quirky, non-mainstream items that are perfect for special occasions or just to brighten up their day.
“Craft is coming back in and people are cooking again,” she said.
“Even the younger generation is getting into it and I’ve found the more frills, ribbons, bows and colour, the better,” she said.
The business started as an online project selling designer aprons world-wide, but Ms Trembath was inspired to bring exclusive items to Healesville when noticing a gap in the market.
“Healesville is in need of high-quality fabric, wool and other haberdashery and residents have said they’re really happy to have these things back in the area,” Ms Trembath said.
The Healesville resident also gives life to the humble apron, combining practicality and style.
“At Crumbz we pride ourselves on creating fashionable and practical kitchen-gear that our customers will want to wear and will be inspired to use,” she said.
There’s countless gift options at the shop for weddings, birthdays and housewarmings.
Ms Trembath is proud to bring clever, smart and different kitchen-wear for him, her and kids of all ages, providing things people wouldn’t find anywhere else.
