UNDER 10
A tight game played in good spirit and in good conditions. Apart from a bit of loose play in the first few minutes, which resulted in a goal to Mount Evelyn, there were few scoring opportunities. The team fought out the game with great endeavour.

HEALESVILLE
UNDER 16
Thanks to the three under-14s who helped out. The hard-knock-for-knock game then saw two players injured, which left no interchange bench. To the credit of every player the Bloods fought back from behind for a draw. Special mention to Giles on his two goals but full credit to every player.

Healesville started off slow in the first quarter but found its feet in the second to come home strong and put the winning points on the board.

UNDER 13
A good aggressive start to the game had Healesville score first in a tight first quarter. Monbulk fought hard to take the lead but to Healesville’s credit it never gave up. In an exciting and fast game putting a score on the board proved difficult and Healesville failed to convert when the opportunities were there.

The team has come a long way and improved a lot. The scoreboard may not have favoured Healesville but there were a few valuable wins.
