YARRA Valley Innate Chiropractic helps people to reach their full potential.
The Yarra Glen practice has moved locations, a new practice has opened in Yarra Junction, and Dr Chloe Whiting has joined the practice as well, giving more people the chance to improve their health, wellbeing and quality of life.
Chiropractor Dr Aaron McPherson said many people’s experience and knowledge of chiropractic is limited to the relief of neck and back pain, which is a main focus for some chiropractors.
“However, at Yarra Valley Innate Chiropractic although relief of aches and pains are important, our main focus is to get you healthy and keep you healthy for your whole life,” he said.
“We do this by focusing on the health of the nerve system, which is made up of your brain, spinal cord and the nerves that come out.”
Dr McPherson said the nerve system is the one system of the body that controls all other systems, “and with a healthy functioning nerve system you stand a better chance of being healthy in all aspects”.
“One of the most common phrases we hear is ‘why did I wait so long before I came in’ or ‘I had no idea your nerve system controlled so many things’,” he said.
Dr McPherson said watching people regain their vitality and zest for life was one of the most rewarding parts of his job.
“The fact that we utilise the most recent developments in chiropractic allows us to be much gentler than most people would believe,” he said.
The Yarra Glen office had its first birthday in July, with a change of address, persistent disruptive roadworks and flooding making for a trying year.
Despite this Dr McPherson said the results speak for themselves and the practice has built a loyal and devoted clientele. During this time naturopath Aliesha Whetham has also joined the practice.
Yarra Valley Innate Chiropractic also took over Horizon Chiropractic in Yarra Junction which is within the multidisciplinary setting of Blue Horizon Clinic consisting of the chiropractic part, an educational program to assist children and adults with learning and behavioural challenges, a GP, mental health services, traditional Chinese medicine and homeopathy.
Dr McPherson said being part of a large team allowed people to have all their health needs met at the one location, which is very important as people’s lives get busier.
“People consult us for a range of health issues, aches and pains, low energy, headaches, feeling stressed or just feeling out of sorts, others already feel very healthy and just want to stay that way,” he said.
Whether it be at Yarra Glen or Yarra Junction, the team at Yarra Valley Innate Chiropractic look forward to getting you healthy and keeping you healthy.
