WITH the advent of daylight savings over the weekend, Yarra Valley Water is reminding residents when they can water their gardens.
Clocks were found forward one hour at 2am on Sunday.
Under Stage 2 restrictions, even numbered properties can water their gardens with a manual watering system between 6 to 8am and 8 to 10pm, and with an automatic watering system between midnight and 4am on even dates; while odd numbered properties can water with watering systems during specified times on odd dates (1st, 3rd, 5th, etc).
Gardens can be watered at any time with a hose fitted with a trigger nozzle, watering can or bucket.
Lawns cannot be watered at any time with drinking water.
