WHETHER you’re a country, rock, blues or music lover, don’t miss the chance to sample some “Arkansas Country” with legendary guitarist Bo Jenkins.
A journeyman musician from Arkansas, Jenkins will be performing in Yarra Junction at Cunninghams Hotel.
Jenkins’ music reflects the richness of a life playing on river boats and in the bars and clubs of the famous Mississippi Delta including Billy Bob’s and B.J.’s Honky Tonk to name a few. This region has bred legends including Sonny Boy Williamson, Johnny Cash, and Elvis Presley.
For the aficionados, Jenkins is a left-handed upside-down player, incorporating lots of slide guitar and favours Aussie brands, for example Maton and Cargill.
Jenkins will be playing at Cunninghams Hotel on Saturday 8 October at 1pm.
