THE show will go on for Warburton Primary School, despite building works still taking over the grounds.
Students, teachers and parents have been working around the building extensions for 31 months, canceling their annual fundraiser two years in a row.
School council president Suyin Chan said the school body was told building would be finished in time for the school to hold its annual fundraiser this month, but the works are still unfinished.
“We didn’t get to do it for the last two years but it’s the major fundraiser for the school so we decided rather than cancel it we’d hold it somewhere else,” she said.
Preparations are being finalised for Springfest, which will now be held at the Redwood Centre in Warburton on Sunday 30 October from 10am to 4pm.
There will be a variety of workshops, stalls, performances, food, and plenty of fun for the kids.
