Seville is set to party

The Celebrating Seville Festival is a family fun day and organisers are expecting a crowd in the thousands to turn up.
There will be plenty to keep the kids amused, with a rock climbing/abseiling wall, mini jeeps, pony and donkey rides, bungee trampolines, a chair ‘o’ plane and tumbling tubs.
There will be an animal farm, archery, showbags, balloon bending and face painting.
Kids can take part in clinics with the Seville Tennis Club, netball club and football club, Kilsyth Cobra basketballers, national champion dance troop Wickid Force Breakers, Auskick clinics, and a handball competition with the Seville senior footballers.
Wickid Force Breakers will perform live on stage, as well as OMF, Shaded Grey and The Melbournaires.
Karen Lazare, from the organising committee, said they began organising the day as a party for Seville, and had focused on making it an affordable, fun day out.
“Everyone has been keen to jump on board and offer their time and skills from within the community,” she said.
She said there was also fun for the adults with 100 stallholders, with arts, crafts, and Yarra Valley wines and produce.
There will be a horse jumping display with the juniors taking off at 10am and the seniors at 2.30pm, as well as raffles, prizes and giveaways all day.
There’s no entry cost but CFA volunteers will be directing parking for a gold coin donation with more than two acres of parking off Warburton Highway.
Children can buy wristbands for unlimited rides for $15 on the day.
The Celebrating Seville Festival will be held from 11am to 4pm on Sunday 13 November at the Seville Recreation Reserve, corner of Warburton Highway and Monbulk/Seville Road.
