WOORI Yallock has ground to a halt with the sweet smell of fresh coffee beans and affordable fashion.
Unique by Siti has been open for a week with what the owners say is an excellent reception from the local community.
Siti Kholifah has been sharing fabulous fashions with Melbourne shoppers and, together with her partner, her new shop in Woori is marketing fresh coffee beans straight from Indonesia.
“We’re one of the only cafes in Australia that can get the coffee direct from the farm gate,” she said.
“It comes from the volcanic regions where the beans make for a sweeter coffee.”
The beans are certified organic fair trade and can be bought by the bag or made up into a choice beverage – cappuccino, latte, or mocha – fresh to drink outside or in a take away container, $3.20 for a regular and $3.80 for a large.
If coffee isn’t the choice of drink, Siti said come in and try a yummy organic fair trade hot chocolate, a range of organic teas or one of their “famous milkshakes”.
“The boutique milkshake has natural ingredients and is hand shaken in an ice cold container,” she said.
She also serves hot food, fresh cakes and pastries and ice cream or fresh fruits for dessert.
Siti also sells women’s clothing, shoes, bags, and other accessories in Chapel Street and other city locations, and has brought a wide range of sizes from 6 to 24 to the Woori Yallock boutique.
“The pricing is sensational,” she said. “There’s lots of Australian-made clothing and it’s all half price until Christmas.”
Where shoppers would pay up to $250 for Australian fashion, Siti is selling a variety of dresses, jeans and blouses for prices under $50, including a $15 rack.
“We will have ongoing specials as well,” she said. “New stock comes in twice a week.”
Unique by Siti is located on the corner of Warburton Highway and Healesville Koo Wee Rup Road next to Bell Real Estate, and is open Monday to Saturday from 7.30am to 5.30pm and from 9am to 6pm on Sundays.
