HEALESVILLE residents are being asked to keep an eye out for a familiar picture this year, as 150th anniversary celebrations ramp up.
Local artist Paul Sonsie has created the logo for the town’s 150th birthday celebrations, featuring the trademark picture of a swimming platypus with “150” across its body and a banner emblazoned with “HEALESVILLE”.
The logo will be used by Community 3777 and other community members running events across the year, to help promote and celebrate the town’s 150th birthday.
Healesville’s event calendar is set to culminate with a street parade and a number of other events, including the Healesville Music Festival, in November.
For more information on the year of events, and to gain access to the logo for use in a local event, visit www.Healesville150.org, www.facebook.com/c3777 or call 5962 1033.
