POLICE are calling for witnesses after a man was killed in Dixons Creek last night.
The crash occurred at about 7.20pm on Tuesday 8 April, when a 69-year-old Mooroolbark man is believed to have lost control of his car on the Melba Highway.
The car, which was heading west near Healesville-Kinglake Road, hit a prime mover truck, which was travelling in the opposite direction.
The Mooroolbark man died at the scene of the crash, while the truck driver, a 36 year old New South Wales man, was uninjured.

The provisional road toll currently stands at 74 – seven higher than the same time last year.
