YARRA Ranges Council is being accused of using ‘weasel words’ and keeping the community in the dark over the sale of the Warburton Caravan Park.
Submissions on the proposed sale to a multi-park operator close on 7 May.
Concern is building about the lack of information on the sale price, how the benefits of keeping the park in local, community ownership were factored into the decision, and where the money will be spent when the sale goes through.
