Sexual assault incident probed

POLICE are asking the public around Lilydale to keep an eye out for a man who allegedly sexually assaulted a 50-year-old woman in January this year.
The Lilydale woman was approached by the man on North Road on Wednesday 27 January while he was collecting hard rubbish.
After engaging in a conversation, the man then forced the woman into a grey 4WD and drove a short distance before sexually assaulting her.
The man was wearing dark overalls at the time of the assault and spoke in broken English with a European accent.
The offender is believed to be about 175cm tall, between 50 and 60 years of age, of Southern European appearance with olive complexion, dark and grey hair and a short beard.
Police have released a computer composite image of what they believe the man looks like.
