POLICE are on the lookout for a man who followed a 12-year-old girl in Launching Place in late July.
About 3.30pm on Friday 22 July, the girl had got off her school bus on the Warburton Highway when she noticed a man following her in a car.
The girl told police the man followed her closely, at times smiling and waving to her, for about five minutes before driving away.
The girl described the man she saw as about 40 years old with dark coloured skin and wearing a black beanie at the time, police have released a digital image of what the man may look like.
The girl was also able to give a limited description of the vehicle and police have released an image of a similar style and colour of car.
