Police are continuing to investigate the fire-bombing of two Yarra Valley tattoo parlours in May 2015, which, they believe, ignited conflict between two rival bikie gangs.
In the early hours of Wednesday 13 May 2015 it is believed that Molotov cocktails were lobbed through the windows of tattoo parlours in Warburton Highway, Seville, and Hardy Street, Lilydale.
Both premises were destroyed as a result, causing damages of more than $250,000.
No one was injured during the fires.
Victoria Police investigators said on Monday 30 January that the parlours were owned by members of the Rebels Outlaw Motorcycle Gang, and that the attacks began the rivalry between the Rebels and Comanchero motorcycle gangs.
At the time, media outlets linked the fires to a drive-by shooting in Beaconsfield, with rumours of bikie gang involvement.
