A three-car crash closed the Waburton Highway for an hour on Monday 20 August.
Yarra Ranges Highway Patrol Acting Sergeant Graeme Rust said one driver had to be cut free from his car due to his injuries.
He said the collision occurred about 7pm in heavy east-bound traffic.
“Keep your eyes on the road,” he said.
“Be aware of your surroundings and drive to the conditions.”
