Bears, bubbles for bubs

A teddy bears’ picnic and so much more brought dozens of children to Yarra Junction Recreation Reserve.

Cire Services and Yarra Ranges Council presented the Tuesday 23 October event for babies and toddlers as part of Yarra Ranges Children’s Week, 19 to 28 October.

There were plenty of picnic rugs and teddies around, plus bubbles, jewellery-making, play dough, drumming, singalongs, and more.

Police and firefighters – including Captain Koala – paid a visit.

Childhood education providers and maternal and child health service providers were also on-hand.
