Wandin Yallock Primary School is preparing to celebrate the school’s 150th anniversary next year.

In preparation for the great milestone, the school is reaching out to invite past students, staff and community members who want to help honour the occasion.

In a Facebook post, the school said, “We are starting to plan for next year’s amazing celebration, but we need lots of helpers and ideas.”

The school created a 150th celebration committee, who held their first meeting on 25 July.

Established in 1870, Wandin Yallock Primary School is one of the oldest schools in the Yarra Valley.
