Eat well, eat local

Alison and Ben Quaggin.

Customers can continue to enjoy produce sourced from the bounty of the Yarra Valley and beyond thanks to Kitchen and Butcher, or K&B as it is known to locals, which is still open for business among the current health crisis.

Established in 2006, K&B is situated next to the Healesville Hotel in a shop that has housed a butcher since it first opened in the 1920s.

Owners Alison and Ben Quaggin are offering free home delivery for orders of $50 or more to the local area. Enter the code word YELLOWVAN at the online checkout and receive an additional 15% off your order (conditions apply)

K&B is known for its incredible range of cheese, house made meals and handmade small batch jams, relishes, pickles, preserves, granolas and spiced nuts.

Not sure what to have for dinner? Go to the K&B website and be inspired by choices including beef bolognese, lasagna, beef red curry, beef bourguigon, coq au vin, massaman lamb curry and moussaka.

In 2015 Alison and Ben purchased a small hobby farm in Chum Creek. There they live the true paddock to plate philosophy raising their own beef and pork as well as chickens, a bee hive and vegetable garden.
