A man has been injured after a tree fell on his car on Lalors Road, Healesville before 4pm this afternoon.
Emergency services were called to the scene at 3.50pm and found the man trapped inside the vehicle.
SES Rescue extracted the driver from the vehicle with hydraulics and rescue tools, as the vehicle was crushed by the tree.
Healesville CFA also assisted in the rescue and helped clear the debris.
Police and Ambulance Victoria were also on scene and council officers have been requested to clear the remainder of the tree of the road.
The male driver is expected to be flown to the hospital.
