Daylight savings begins this weekend

Yarra Valley residents are reminded to set their clocks this weekend with daylight savings returning for the season.

From Sunday 2 October at 2am, clocks will shift forward one hour to cater for daylight saving time.

While the whole country doesn’t observe daylight saving time, Victoria, New South Wales, Australian Capital Territory, Tasmania and South Australia will change their clocks this Sunday.

Daylight saving time will end on the first Sunday of April next year, making it 2 April.
