There is a planned burn-off commencing in the Badger Creek area over 11 hectares today 24 April.

Residents should be aware smoke may cause low visibility in the area.

This ecological burn aim to modify the vegetation across the planned area to assist in the Control of Kunazea ericoides, ignition should be completed by the end of the day.

Crews in fire-fighting vehicles will be using local roads to access the burn area.

Road signs may be in place to slow traffic.

Please obey all traffic signs and instructions from fire agency crews and traffic management crews near planned burns.

Forest fire management Victoria encourages people to consider how smoke from this burn may affect you and take precautions to reduce your exposure.
