Emergency services responded to a potential road rescue at 3.15pm on Healesville-Yarra Glen Road in Tarrawarra in wet and slippery conditions on Wednesday 3 May.
Heading towards Healesville near Tarrawarra Estate, the driver appears to have misjudged the bend and crashed into the small ditch by the road.
The vehicle, a silver Toyota sedan, sustained a fair amount of damage to its front but the driver managed to avoid serious injury.
Crews from Healesville SES and Healesville CFA attended, with assistance from Victoria Police. Ambulance Victoria confirmed that no emergency treatment or transport was required.
The road was temporarily closed as the car was towed and was reopened as all emergency services left the scene at 3.50pm.
Heavy rainfall causing the road to be wet may have been a factor. All motorists are urged to drive with caution when roads are wet.
