A Car fire spreaded to trees on Victoria Road in Yering Victoria road on Monday 6 November.
A person went to the Spadonis Reserve for a walk and came across the burning car in the morning.
Four CFA units including Chirnside Park, Coldstream and Yarra Glen responded to the fire at around 6:42am.
“By the time the fire brigade got there, the car was fully burnt out and the brigade just extinguished the fire and then handed it over to the police,” Coldstream CFA captain Sean Bethell said.
“Victoria Police were called to the scene as well. The incident was deemed under control at 7am and safe at 7.30am,” a CFA spokesperson said.
