Residents near the Sugarloaf Reservoir and in the vicinity of Yarra Glen, Yering, Kangaroo Ground, Christmas Hills, Panton Hill and Watsons Creek may see or hear helicopters operating in and around their communities as part of Victoria’s night fire bombing program.
Safety of all staff and crew working in and around these aircraft is our highest priority. Training flights during the day and at night (generally prior to 11pm) are part of essential safety training.
