Sanders fourth in Dakar

Upper Yarra motorcross champion Daniel Sanders has crossed the final finish line at the 2021 Dakar Rally after a long 12-days of racing.

Sanders comes away from his first Dakar with the title of number one Rookie and fulfilled his goal of making the top ten, placing fourth overall.

The Three Bridges local has been racing across Saudi Arabian sand dunes since the beginning of January, in what is classed as “the world’s toughest and biggest race.”
