WANDIN Yallock Primary School’s grade five and six students get an A-plus for event management after organising a market that raised $226.45 for the school’s sponsored child.
The group’s logistic skills were tested when their outdoor market was driven indoors by a torrential downpour.
But they came through brilliantly, setting up the various stalls and entertainment in the stadium and maintained the atmosphere of a vibrant market place.
The money raised will assist Nhlalwenhle who lives in Africa and is sponsored through World Vision.
