Smashing end to season

HEALESVILLE Tennis Club has had a successful summer season playing in three premierships and coming home with two flags.
In the Junior Open Singles/Doubles, Section 7, of the Eastern Region Tennis, Healesville defeated Monbulk six sets, 43 games to 2 sets, 34 games. The team was captain Dean Pryon, April Stanley, Maddy Hannaford and James Laurence.
In the Girls Singles/Doubles, Section 6, Captain, Lucy Flamsteed, Caitlyn Cosson and Kelly Wallace defeated Koonung Park in a very close match which saw Healesville claim the flag 3 sets, 30 games to 3 sets, 26 games.
The Eastern Region Junior Development Section 3 match saw Healesville come runners-up to Heathmont with Eliza Hoiles, Ruby Holloway, Joanne Lawrence, may Flamsteed and Phoebe Cosson putting in a great effort after a very successful season.
The winter season commences on 18 April.
