Police are seeking public assistance to help locate missing man Lachlan McKenzie.

The 22-year-old was last seen at his Seville East address about 3.20pm on Wednesday 16 December.

Police and family hold concerns for Lachlan as his disappearance is out of character.

Lachlan was last seen wearing an Adidas t-shirt and grey Adidas trackpants.

He is known to frequent the Seville and Woori Yallock areas.

Investigators have released an image of Lachlan in the hope someone recognises him and can provide information regarding his current whereabouts.

Anyone who sees Lachlan or has information about his current whereabouts is asked to contact the Lilydale Police Station on 9739 2300.
