Healesville Racing Club has made the tough decision to cancel yet another of its upcoming events due to the weather and track conditions.
The club issued a notice on social media saying the Saturday 10 December Christmas Party event will be cancelled due to continued heavy rainfall and surface water on the track.
“It’s extremely disappointing to lose our third race meeting of the season, particularly given it’s such a big meeting for the club,” the post read.
The club is hopeful that the track and weather will be in the right conditions for the 2023 Healesville Cup.
“However with a bit of luck with the weather, the club is really looking forward to welcoming you back for our next race meeting, which is the 2023 Healesville Cup on Saturday 7th January!”
