Appeal for witnesses to Woori crash

Police are seeking witnesses to a car crash in Woori Yallock on Friday 12 July.

Officers allege a silver Nissan Navara utility was travelling east along Warburton Highway when it swerved towards a purple Holden utility travelling west, near Woori Yallock Creek, about 9.50am.

The Navara driver then conducted a U-turn, police said, and caught up to the Holden near Williams Crescent.

There the Navara collided with the Holden, causing both vehicles to leave the road with extensive damage.

A 20-year-old man was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries and was assisting police with their inquiries.

The woman driving the Holden was uninjured.

Detective Senior Constable Herbert from the Croydon Family Violence Investigations is seeking witnesses or footage of the incident.

When someone is in immediate danger, police said to always call triple-zero.
