Young motorcyclist intercepted by police

A young motorcyclist was intercepted by police on Saturday 9 April around 10am on the Maroondah Highway in Healesville.

State highway patrol halted the 24 year old male rider while he was travelling north.

The rider produced his probationary driver’s licence which was revealed to have been suspended.

Further checks by police confirmed the motorcycle’s registration was cancelled.

The rider’s bike was impounded and the rider will be charged on summons for several traffic matters.
