Healesville Ladies Probus Club president Ann Buissink awarded Leny Stueten with Life Membership at the club’s annual luncheon.
Ms Stueten joined the club in 1990 and has since held numerous committee positions.
She was the tours and outings convenor for two years, organising fantastic places to visit in Victoria and interstate.
Ms Stueten cared for and visited sick and elderly members at home, hospitals and aged care facilities for six years.
She was the club historian and photographer for nine years and the vice president, president and past president across three years.
“Over all those years, Leny was also garden group co-ordinator,” Ms Buissink said.
“She has hosted lunches and tours of her own garden for the last 11 years.
“She continues to make her famous sponge cakes and pavlovas for our AGM and Christmas meetings.”
Ms Buissink said Ms Stueten had been a very active member for 28 years, 20 as a committee member.
“An amazing achievement and a very worthy recipient,” she said.
“We are lucky to have her as a member.
“Well done Leny, you deserve this honour.”
